| Other Features | Improvement 1.working voltage 3.3V/5V is optional . Arduino can only work under 5V , when the moudle is 3.3V ,it could not connect with IO jack directly . A voltage convertor is needed ----- eg. SD card , bluetooth module etc. While the improved one can work with 3.3V ,by sliding the voltage switcher it could connect the 3.3V module directly . 2.More powerfully power supply . Arduino use FT232RL 3.3V as power output , maxium output current is less than 100mA , when there is larger current external module , the power supply is not enough . The improved one use 1117-3.3 as power supply , maxium current is 500mA . Arduino only has 500mA 5V power supply , when it uses external power supply , it can provide 2A 5V power supply . 3.Clearer LED indication . The indicator on the extending board of Arduino will be hidden , could not see the indicator of PWR, TX & RX . The improved one has moved the indicators to the edge of the board , even there is external board , you can see them well . 4.Can reach the RESET button easier . The RESET button of Arduino will be hidden when insert the extending board , and could not reset the main board . The improved one has moved the button on the edge , you can reach it easily . 5.Extended pin . The anolog pin & 3 digital pin has been lead out through normal Electronic blocks / actuator 3pin of Arduino . This makes connecting with many Electronic blocks' sensor /control module and actuator much easier . No need sensor extending board . 6.Wide input voltage . Arduino only support 7-12V input , while it support 7-23V input . 7.More stable AD sampling . The AD circuit of Arduino is too casual ,interference is severe , when use IIC pin to communicate (A4A5) ,other anolog pins will be effected , could not sampling correctly . This problem will not happen on ACD circuit .When switch the working voltage to 5V ,this board is 100% compatiable with Arduino Duemilanove . |
